Fun fact: the WWII indie film Saints and Soldiers? I went to church with a chick whose two brothers (they're all Austrian btw) were the two German soldiers who were talking together in the barn while the four Allied soldiers hid beneath them. She said the director told her brothers to just say anything at all since it didn't really matter. Yeah, 'cause no one watching the film could possibly speak German or anything. "I prefer Colgate myself. Hey, how 'bout that fuhrer, eh? Blah blah blah!"

It's About TIME, MISTY

I would like to point out that the title of the blog should actually be Dos Chicas Locas, if my high school/college Spanish serves. We can't blame Misty for her Americanized approximation, however, as she studied that most useless of languages, German. The only reason German is useful in this post-are-we-going-to-live-under-Nazi-rule world is for watching WWII movies. And most of them come with subtitles anyway.

Fine!
Posted by Unknown at 4:34 PM 3 commentsAbby was getting her undies in a bunch because there was no link on the page for her to be able to click on and post.
I finally said "uncle" and put a link on the bottom of the page for her to post. It's not at the top like she wanted, but it's on the page. All she'll have to do is click somewhere on the page, hit the "end" button, and BAM! There's the link.
That is my idea of good breeding. Those persons who fancy themselves very important, and never open their mouths, quite mistake the matter.
Points if you know the quote, Abby.

I'm Better Than Abby
Posted by Unknown at 6:53 PM 1 comments
You might be saying "Oh, HECK yeah!" and then there's Abby, who might be saying "WHY?" The answer? BECAUSE I POST HERE. That's why.
But, to be fair, there is a lot I need to do for her on our other website. I do come up with some pretty good ideas for the blog portion of it, but not the website itself. That's supposed to be my domain (get it?), and I've been slacking. Though, to be fair, I don't get a lot of alone time on the computer when I can be THAT creepy without some serious retribution here in the house. The youngest kid here reads on a 4th grade level, and she's six.
Once upon a time Abby and I talked EVERY DAY. That is the magic of the Internet. Also, she didn't have kids then. I swear, it's like she loves them more than me or something. I am sure her "reason" is because she went through near-hell to have them. Come up with something original.
I LOVE YOU ABBY!
PS--your brother's birthday is in 205 days. I might even add a count-down clock on this website to remind you. THAT'S love!

Welcome From Misty
Posted by Unknown at 4:58 PM 1 commentsWelcome to our blog. When Abby and I were talking today, I threatened to start a blog for all of the crazy stuff Abby and I say to one another. She said that this would surely cause us to get tossed into the klink, and I scoffed at her.
We said some funny things today. I tried to call Abby at 3:58 pm, but she ignored my call. More than likely for her kids. She ALWAYS thinks of them before me. JERK. Anyway, like I was saying, I was calling Abby to ask her what the heck we were talking about which caused us to laugh for about a minute straight. It was pretty danged funny. Abby, a little help here? Man, isn't it time for you to put your kids to bed yet and play on the Internet with me? GOSH!
Okay, I'm going to go back to crocheting my sister's hat. Welcome.
Love,
Misty
